Sundiata Post – The Sunrisers Eastern Cape won the toss and elected to bat first in their Betway SA20 clash against the Joburg Super Kings at DP World Wanderers on Sunday afternoon.
The Super Kings will be desperate for a win to boost their playoff hopes, as they sit just one point ahead of the Pretoria Capitals in the fourth and final playoff spot.
They will also be keen for a bit of revenge after the Sunrisers beat them by 14 runs in Gqeberha (formerly Port Elizabeth) on Friday, so the hosts will be eager to get the win back on their home turf.
For the Sunrisers, a win will seal their place in the playoffs and lift them above Mumbai Indians Cape Town into second place on the log, so they will also be going all out for victory.
